I have taken a break from my Internet Coaches series postings to regroup and gear up for the next part of the series. The direction I want this to go into now is to point out particular coaches and their programs and why people find them successful, and why people continue to stay in them or with this person month after month.
There are a few people who I follow lately. I have known most of them for over 2 years, and some of them even longer than that. When I mention a program, I have been a part of that program for at least 2 years, or I will mention the length of time if it is less than that.
The first person to play a huge impact on my blogging career is Alex Sysoef. Many of you who follow this blog are familiar with him, and you know that I hardly have to say much that you really already do not know about Alex.
I believe I met Alex from a forum hosted by Luke Parker, who I also consider a great influence on my internet career and presence. I have not heard from Luke in quite some time, and I do miss having him around. Luke Parker was one of the genuinely nice people on the internet. He would probably not classify himself as an Internet Coach, because he was not promoting himself as such. Instead he encouraged communities of people helping people.
Luke had really great membership communities when hardly anyone did. The ideas flowed freely. Luke was always looking for ways to help his members improve upon their website traffic. He is most well known for his Home Biz Factory. Next he developed the Surefire Success System, and a follow up system to it. The last I heard from him he was developing a new system that was going to take Surefire Success even farther with improvements to help each and every member succeed.
Luke lives in a part of the US where there are tornadoes so I am hoping he was not the victim of one of those. It is just strange when someone who was intent on making a great system vanishes.
Out of that relationship I met Alex Sysoef, and he was developing a system to help people with their WordPress blogging experience. Alex and Luke are two of the most helpful people that I ever met on the internet. I was so busy at the time that Alex was calling for beta testers for his new blogging system that I missed out, but I followed every email very closely. They were always highly informative.
At the time Alex developed his blogging system that included templates, a series of videos, and the plugins that you needed to get a good functioning WordPress blog up and running, there were several changes going on in the world of blogging. It seemed WordPress was adding updates faster than you could go through a roll of paper towels. This kept Alex so very busy, and I know every time there was an update, I had problems.
It is amazing that Alex still has any hair on his head after all the trouble I gave him with request after request calling for support. As I look back on those times and how busy Alex was (he still had a day job at the time, I believe), it is amazing how fast he got me the help I needed. I learned a whole lot about broken blogs during those times and the importance of backing up your blogs and your data base before doing any updates or changes.
I intend to go into more depth about Alex Syseof and his Expert Word Press System, and why I think every blogger should start their first self hosted blog with this system. I want everyone who reads this series and my blog to know that Alex has helped me and is one of the coaches who has made a difference in my blogging.
