Blizzards-Superbowls-Opportunities

Every day we are faced with opportunities. Some are very obvious and some are not so obvious. Do you ever grab an opportunity when it is right in front of your face but are you so non focused that the opportunities pass you by?

Often I feel that way. I feel the opportunity passed me by and I did not grab it. Instead of grabbing the opportunity I hop on the coat tails of it and find myself being a follower and not a leader.

However sometimes you find someone who grabbed an opportunity and ran with it to see where it would take him or her. Such it was with the Chicago Blizzard of 2011. Was it the great Chicago Blizzard? Since I never lived there I am not sure.

The Superbowl. I did not watch it, but I heard play by play commentary from real people who were watching it, and it was just as good as any paid professional commentator. Maybe I should have recorded it for a YouTube video.

Imagine forgetting the words to the National Anthem for the USA when you are an award winning singer. Now that is now good. Sometimes we seize and opportunity and fall on our face. However not doing it on National or Worldwide television is always better than what was done on Superbowl Sunday.

Where are the prompters with the lyrics? No matter how rich or famous we get there is usually something that happens in our life to keep us humble. We get reminded, after-all, we are only human.

So while two teams battled it out to wear the prestigious Super Bowl Ring, it seemed all the highly paid performers fell short of reaching their peak performances (by my commentator’s opinions).

However one up and coming film maker captured some moments and is calling for mass participation in the making of a movie about the blizzard. So far the YouTube views are climbing even after the storm is over. Where will this opportunity take Steven Vargas? It is up to us the general internet users to determine by using our thumbs up and “Likes”. Will you do that?

I am not really sure how one of my posts to Buzz ended up on my site. Maybe my fingers mixed things up or maybe they did not. It just shows me that I need to figure out how I did that without knowing.

Who is Alex Sysoef?

Why do I recommend Expert WordPress Blogging System?

I think most of my readers know who Alex Sysoef is. If you are new to my blog and you do not know him, then I hope you will follow my links to his site and get his help for your affiliate marketing success. I have written about him before and will probably write about him again.

I met Alex years ago, when he was working a full time job and so was I. Alex knows how to program, and the ins and outs of affiliate marketing. We met on a forum, or on one of Luke Parker’s web projects where I was a beta testing and a forum moderator.

I was always impressed by Alex’s desire to help people succeed online, and with his desire to stop working around the clock. It seemed we were all doing that then. That sort of schedule resulted in me getting really ill, and realizing I can only take so many hours without getting little sleep. It resulted in Alex using his talents to develop what I feel is one of the best, if not the best, groups of bloggers around. Many are bloggers in training, but many have also become quite accomplished with affiliate marketing.

I like to attend his webinars when time permits. Usually they are when I am at work, but he adds the recordings to his membership site. I really would rather be there live than listen to a recording. How about you?

This is very typical of what you get with Alex Sysoef. He scheduled the webinar for an hour, but he went into details about teaching people how to get their first blog up and running and then how to go out and start getting some free traffic to their blog. I participated in one of Alex’s tests when he was going to be adding to his Expert WordPress Blogging System, and I know how his techniques can get your blogs to some high search engine rankings.

I am not going to teach what he teaches in this post, but I recommend that you go check out his site for yourself.

I have been really lucky to interview Alex when I was conducting interviews at Mastermind Pros. It is hard to believe that was about 2 years ago. What has changed since then? Word Press has changed a lot and is even better. Alex has improved Expert Word Press a whole lot, too, and keeps the installations compatible with the current WP updates. That can be really difficult to do when you use a lot of the plug ins.

Are you having technical trouble with your blog? Alex has a forum for Expert WordPress users where you can get your questions answered. Alex and I were chatting via email the other day about different success programs out there, and Alex was talking about people who over deliver on their products. Alex Sysoef is definitely one of those people who does the same.

Free is good, affordable is good, too, when the product can save you time and money that you would spend to learn everything he can teach you about your blogging success.

I read somewhere that most bloggers are writers and not marketers. Sooner or later bloggers are going to want to make some extra money to support all that blogging. Once you are ready to take the step into the world of affiliate marketing you will want to join the Expert Word Press team. It is not join and get rich over night, but it is join and find out what you can do to improve your chances of successful marketing with your blogs.

Whether you want to blog for fun, or blog for profit, there is something for everyone at EWP (Expert WordPress). Alex has a series of videos that walks you through your first installation when you get your hosting. You should have your own hosting, because that way you will not mess up some terms of service by whoever is providing the blogs.

Hostgator Web Hosting can get you up and running and if very affordable with enough room to keep you blogging for a long time. Alex has his blogs set up to work fine with Hostgator, too. I have used his fast installation, and it is the best thing going, because you get everything you need and his EWP site does all the ground work.

Blog Updates Are Scare For A While

If you are waiting for an updated post, I am so sorry to be neglecting my blog, and to be so scarce in posting.
I was sick with some sort of flu, or sinus and double ear infection during most of November. I was doing ok until the doctor changed my antibiotic prescription. Then I got hit with a bad reaction to that.

The next thing to happen was that my mother suffered a heart attack. I was working a lot of overtime hours to get caught up with the day job and other things I do and neglecting the blogs, and now I have been spending my days at hospitals.

Family is the most important part of my life, since mine is really small. I just have my parents and one brother. They have always been there for me. I take my laptop to the hospital but there is no internet connection I can hop on to there.

Once my mother returns to her home I will be able to be online while I am there.

I am probably going to be posting in one of my other blogs about this heart attack experience, and about the American Diet, and how it is killing us. I have a lot to rant about. Being human is not all that easy! *wink*

I hope you will stay tuned for updates and all I intend to do in 2010. I am still very excited about blogging, and all the internet has to offer. I am looking forward to sharing it with my blog readers.

I am taking a break from my 6th installment for my internet coaches series to have a little diversion.
I am regrouping on the series, and am not sure where it will go after the next post. However this could be part of the internet coaches and mentoring series since I am giving quite a lot of information about that, too.

There are some new business opportunities and products out there on the net, that I will most likely be doing some reviews on along with some posts on the “how to” areas. This is the cover to my first Ozine. I am a newbie there, so it might take a while for me to figure it all out.
However it looks like it is not going to be that difficult to use Ozines.

The first thing you do is set up your account. It is an easy process if you have set up any other Social type accounts online. The best part is that it is free, and we all like FREE! You can add images, and videos, and as much text as you want. Right now I am still on the basic stages. I wanted to rush into things without watching the tutorials. Now I will probably go back and do that. I was just so excited to see how long it would take to get something up and published so I could share it with my blog readers.

I created my first Ozine after finding one on Jack Humphrey’s website.
I saw his and knew I wanted to create one, although his looks way more professional than mine.
He is so good at what he does.

Jack’s Ozine is all about Link Building. It is something that I would bet that 90% of the readers of this blog are interested in. I know articles like that get my attention all the time.

You can listen in on Friday’s at 2p.m. Eastern on Blog Talk Radio http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Jack-Humphrey I have not used Jack Humphrey as a paid coach (yet), but I do learn a whole lot from his blogs, and interviews. He shares a whole lot with his readers. This is another way that you can avoid the cost of internet coaching and mentoring. However this is a way that takes a little bit longer than paying for one on one or small group coaching sessions.

However when you follow people like Jack Humphrey, it is time well spent. I would much rather spend time learning than watching the nightly news.
