I mentioned “i Hid.us” in the earlier post on tiny urls. Not all tools to make a tiny url are the same now. If you want a unique shortener, then you should take a look at i hid.us while it is fairly new and is free to use for unlimited use and great stats on your hits.
There is a organized page on the site where the stats are kept, and that is a great feature. The site even goes one further for a process where you can have a certain amount of Tweets automatically set up. You can join free for this service and expand your amount of Tweets by your membership choice. My hits through Twitter have definitely gone up with this service.
For a service with a free membership you can not go wrong with using Orange Leads where i hid.us is located. I could go on for quite a few more paragraphs to tell about the exciting features for Orange Leads. However I will stay on topic about the tiny urls for now. I recommend programs with great customer service and good value. Customer service is one of my top priorities when writing about a product. Timothy at Orange Leads, and i hid.us is always on top of answering his support questions in a fast time period. He helps you a whole lot with anything on the site.
To get started using i hid.us today, just click on the link here and you will be directed to their site. Tim is always adding new features, and you get quite a lot as a free member when you are on there.
Please let me know if you are using any of the Orange Leads features as a result of this post. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing Rocque!
There seem to be so many variations of service these days -makes you wonder which one we should use

I like using Bud url in addition to tiny url.
With Bud url, you can really get to track your traffic sources, like for these two links:
1- http://budurl.com/sthz (Flying suit in Norway- something I see that Yanik Silver would try once in his life, which brings me to the next bud url…)
2- http://budurl.com/n3mu (Yanik Silver’s Maverick Business Insider)
So, check out bud url, the stats they give you are AWESOME!

Thanks for the comments Alex and Kevin.
Yours is a bit spammy Kevin but I let it ride.
I like the tiny url sites that offer you some stats. I have added a bit.ly tool to Firefox that shows where each URL is from before you click on it and that is a great feature when using Twitter and a lot of other social sites. It works great in email, too. So you can tell what you click before you click.
For a free service bit.ly is great with Firefox.
Hey Rocque!,
I use Orange leads but I have not used ihid.us. With the benefits of great hit stats plus having several tools all in one place makes sense to me. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for this information. I use and like bit.ly, but I’ll check this out too, as it sounds like they offer more than just url shortening.
