Happy Birthday to My Blog

Wow it is now over two years for this blog, but Rocques Business Information has been around longer. Just two years ago I decided to turn the website into a blog because blogs are so much easier to maintain. Since then I have learned a lot from my internet coaches, and still continue to learn from Frank Terranova and Alex Sysoef. I have a few more that I do use, but I coach for Frank and I follow Alex’s blog and post as often as I can there.

I have thought of changing the domain name to a .com, but then rocquesbiz.info/blog has been around a long time, and I think it says it all.

So what does the future hold. I will strive to bring more and more information on the places for great online businesses, and business information. I will continue my coaching series, too.
I plan to help people set up blogs of their own, and want to rewrite The Blogging Puzzle. The difficulty in having a book about Word Press Blogs is that they update so often. The difficulty with The Blogging Puzzle was the timing involved. I released the book as soon as WP moved out from the old templates and platform and into the new 2.5 series. It was a while ago.

It is difficult to compete in the How To Blog market but there is always a need for one place to find the easy to start information. I love using free WordPress blogs at www.wordpress.com, especially for the beginners. However I still have blogs there.

I am using Hub Pages a little more now. There is a nice community over there. Here is the link to my hub about Zhu Zhu hamsters if you are looking for a good present for a younger person.

I plan to keep writing and would like to make more books. We will see how the time goes.

  1. Thanks for your kind comment Luca. It is always nice to follow what you are doing on your blogs, too. You share a whole lot of information. Having some cake sounds great. It is the pumpkin pie season now though. What a time not to have a working oven. I am going to have to miss out on the Turkey feast. It might be cake after all.
