Internet Coaches vs Life Coaches

Questions to Consider

• How do you stay on track and positive?
• Do you find more positive than negative thoughts surrounding your day?
• How many hours do you spend listening to news or televison that leaves negative messages?
• Is the music you listen to uplifting, or does it have negative connotations?
• Do you hold negative thoughts captive?

Perhaps these questions do not seem remotely connected to internet coaching.  Maybe they seem like something that can tie into another positive coaching session or maybe even a visit to a counselor or a psychiatrist.  However these are  questions you should be asking yourself to determine where you are in your present situation, and to help chart your path to a new destination.

Do all successful people start out that way?  I do not know if they all do, but my guess would be that few successful people get there on their first try.  Many of the people who are considered successful by the world’s standards face several obsticles in their lives.

The main difference is that they never gave up no matter what.  I could go into another series on people who lost it all and hit bottom to end up some of the best known people in history.  Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich (still worth reading in my opinion, and I might offer that as a download later on this series), looks at several of the successful people in business, and what they did to get there.

That is the first place I heard of mastermind groups.  That was when I was either in high school or fresh out of high school.  This whole concept was so far above me.  However I knew I needed to find a mastermind group.  Whether or not I knew what I was doing, I did find people I needed to succeed, but at that time my goal was not having an internet coach.  My goal was to get one trophy, just one, for surfing.  I never had a trophy for anything in my life, so that seemed like something I would like to do.

I was pretty terrible at surfing then, too.  Before I go on a total different course with this posting, I should focus on how one idea can change a life.  I read a book that was totally different than anything I was taught in high school.  I never saw that book on a “reading list” in college either, and I was a Business Major.

However, reading Think and Grow Rich was probably the best time I ever spent as far as return on time investment.  It taught me that you never give up.  You focus on what your goals are.  It is ok to have different goals or to change your path, but if you apply the principles in the book, you will find that you can attract the people who can help you to reach your goals.

The things we think about today pave what we get in the future.  Write down what you want to achieve.  I have sayings and goals on my walls in my office.  They are tacked on there.  That is one of the benefits of having your own office.  One of the things I put up there is this, ” I am attracting successful people!”

I even pray, “Thank you God, for the people you are bringing into my life who can influence me in a positive way and help me to reach my goals.”  This helps.  I meet people who I never would have imagined I would meet and I learn from them.

Not all coaches have to be someone you pay to learn from.  Be open to the types of people you are attracting.  You will find that as you change, the types of people that you attract will also start changing.

If you want to succeed on the internet, then you want to eventually have some internet coaches.  However, if your internet success is slow (and for most people it is), and you feel that you are not in the place that you want to be, it is time to think about how you got there.

Perhaps your coaching needs to start out by changing how you think.  Changing our mindset and our bad self talk and thinking about our self can ruin anything that we learn from our internet coach.  So take a look at the questions at the start of this posting and see if there is something that needs to be changed.

Start thinking more positively today.
