My Series On Internet Coaches~1

You might think this post is intended for internet newbies only. However it is intended for anyone conducting business on the internet. I wonder how many people use some form of internet coaching. I have used internet coaches during my stay on the internet and they have provided valuable information to me, and help along the way. I have made mistakes in choosing a coach, but I feel a the time I made the best decisions possible.

For this reason I am going to be spending time in this month, June, to write about internet coaches. The good and the bad of internet coaches will be discussed along with an opportunity for the readers to comment with their honest opinions. I know several people who have used coaches.

I have gone from student to internet coach. I can add my own perspective as a coach to what I write. This might be eye opening for some of you, and it might be ho hum business as usual for others.

First of all the main thing you want to do is make sure that the coach you are going to use does have a presence of some sort on the internet. Maybe they are not one of the gurus who you get emails from offering to sell you something every day. Those are not the best coaches out there. Those are salesmen and salesladies offering you an unending list of e-books and DVDs or CDs or online videos that show some technique.

When you are looking for a coach you want someone who will interact with you live. Live interaction either by telephone, or a conference room, or an online messenger service. Email interaction is great, too. There are several services out there that offer great support through email, and internet coaches do that, too.

Most coaching groups do not have an on site live chat person available 24/7. That is just too much to hope for. Remember they do not dedicate their entire day to helping individual clients for the most part. Most coaches work their own businesses too, or are part time coaches and work another job along with it.

Finally to close off this segment, I want to add, that no matter what level you are at in your online business, you should have some sort of Mastermind group as recommended in the book, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. If you are just starting out and do not have your mastermind group yet, then I hope this series will give you some insight into getting started and getting the help you need via internet coaches so that you can find your mastermind groups.

  1. Hey Rocque,

I think its a great idea as it helps people identify someone they can learn from. We all learn the most from a person we can identify with and this series should be great!

    Look forward to it!

  2. Thanks for your comments Alex. You are one of the internet coaches who might not have started out with the goal of being a coach, but you certainly have evolved into one. Your blogging webinars are always educational. I guess since I am promoting you I need to have a more prominent link for your Expert Word Press System. Time to dress up my side bar is here now.
I forgot to add the Comment Luv to this blog but it is here now. I am allowing comment love and do follow but will be checking to see that the spammers keep away.

  3. Hey Rocque,

Great site and fantastic topic for June. I’ll be back to read your future posts.
I agrre with you that we need mentors in any business. Internet Marketing can sometimes be a little lonely so getting to know the so called Guru’s and learning from them is important.
I find though that the cost of a coach can sometimes be too much for beginners but there are people like Alex and his Expert WordPress membership that are affordable and he’s fantastic.

  4. Not all coaches cost money. And as you said there are others that are extremely low cost for the information you can get from them. The key to using any coach though is the willingness to act on what you are learning. All the knowledge in the world is worthless if not put into practice ;)
