Are you ready to get started with your own hosting for a website or blog?  If you are going to have any sort of business now, having a web presence is one thing you really should be concerned with.  If you know little or nothing about these things then perhaps I can help you with my suggestions.

I definitely recommend blogs ahead of Web Sites, although a website will probably be in your future.  I am taking it for granted that you know what you want to use the website for.  I started my first website just for fun and to learn what it was all about.  I was completely fascinated by the internet and making web pages.  Later I learned that it was possible to earn some money using the internet and that made me even happier.

I have one website that I spent a lot of time creating, and I am now devoting most of my energy to blogs because they are easier for me to add content to.  I only need to know minimal coding for what I use.  Word Press is my blog of choice, but it is not perfect and does require some patience.

However I have a system I use to even shorten the learning curve for Word Press.

How much will it cost for hosting, a domain name, and a system that will show you how to get your blog up and running?  Using the services that I recommend you can get started for very little. It is always good to contact the vendors and see if they have any special offers going to help you get started. I am going to show you banners from the services I use and give you the prices as of today, March 23, 2008.  This way you have an idea of what your basic needs will be.

I recommend Host Gator for web hosting.


If you are brand New I recommend starting a Word Press Blog.  If the thought of hosting your own blog scares you then consider starting for FREE with a Word Press Blog.  You are limited as to what you can do and add, but you can get a start this way.  Visit:  http://www.wordpress.com  to start your free blog.

Domain Names are a Must!  A domain name will establish your web identity.  See if you can get one with your keywords in it, or one that Brands you as the authority in your field.  I recommend Go Daddy for domain names.

Now for the system that I use to make my blogs for affiliate marketing and general product information, I recommend Alex Sysoef’s Web 2.0 Wealth System.



Each one of these recommended services comes with unlimited help! However to get even more help starting your own internet business or using the internet to promote your business there are two more resources that I am recommending.

The first is Mastermind Pros Coaching. I recommend this because I am partial. I am a coach for Mastermind Pros. My Mastermind Pros Affiliation

I can not believe that I have not written about Mastermind Pros on this blog.  Perhaps it is because I author the blog for Mastermind Pros.  I was fortunate enough to join them when I was learning about Google Adwords advertising.

It was when all the hype was around about Google Cash Detective that I met Frank Terranova on a forum, and then I attended his conferences.  I was impressed with how open and honest he seemed, and how approachable.  Google Cash Detective has had its ups and downs and is still being improved.  Frank Terranova formed a success coaching team called Mastermind Pros and the rest is history.  Well I am going to keep you updated on some of the history.

Ann Moss and Andrew Youtz are incredible marketers and are two of the top people who form a solid trio with Frank Terranova.  I help out where I can and we also have Alisha who is becoming the expert on Google Cash Detective and Google Cash Automator.

I teach blogging classes about once a week.  It goes from basics on blogging to more advanced techniques.  Blogging is one of my favorite mediums for online communication and now for affiliate landing pages and capture pages.  I have some Blogs with blog tutorials that I keep adding to.

Frank Terranova has a heart of gold! The coaches I have met at Mastermind Pros really do care about your success.  The information shared there is extraordinary.  I have paid a whole lot more and have been shown a whole lot less in mentoring programs.  Most of the mentoring programs I have been involved with tell you that you will be making the money back in 30 days so that your all cash up front expenses are paid for.  This has not happened for me in 2 programs I got involved with.  They fell way short of their promises.

Mastermind Pros will not tell you that you can make 6 figure incomes in a year.  They will teach you how to reach that figure of an income though, and what steps you need to take.  They give you the confidence and the training to get started.  Plus they do not take all your money to do it.

Who Is Steve Pavlina?

Have you heard of Steve Pavlina?  Well I do not want to tell you too much about him or I may never see you again. (*sad face goes here*)…

Seriously though a person who went to jail at age 19 and now teaches lessons in wealth and prosperity, vegan living, and positive thinking is someone you might want to read about. I am sure most of us can learn at least one thing by visiting his website.  Either that or you can read here where I will share some of the things I learn from his website or comment on how things he has learned compliment what I am also teaching.

Sometimes it is fun to hear things from more than one person, and as far as positive things you can not hear those often enough.  My goal is to have a blog that is as awesome at Steves.  Well, there are other people who have blogs just as fun and awesome, and this is going to be one of them, too.  He just got a better head start then I am having.

You know sometimes a jail term does change lives for the better. I am not sure how often that works, but I can think of 3 people right off hand.  Paul in the Bible who wrote several of the Books in the New Testament in the Bible used his prison time to write, and where would we be without those Books? (ok…broke the rule about religion…but they are great books to read if you have not read them yet, I suggest it!).  Chuck Colson began his prison fellowship that has helped thousands of families after being released from prison.  How many of you are old enough to remember Watergate?  Well, now we have Steve Pavlina.  Like Paul and Chuck, Steve is helping a lot of people and changing a lot of lives.  I wonder where Paul would have been if there was internet access and pod casting when he was in prison.  Imagine the email campaigns he could have conducted!

Well, it is fun to let your imagination go crazy, but it is time to get ready to get the car in for its maintenance checkup.

Discover Coaching in 2008!

I am a full on believer in all that is good and positive.  Unfortunately even with that, live still happens.  Rob Phelps from Automatic Builder and Horizons Marketing says he won’t allow himself the luxury of a negative thought.  That is not all that easy to do, but another famous pastor, Charles Stanley, also speaks about negative thoughts.

What Charles Stanley says is that you can not prevent the thoughts from entering your mind, but you can prevent them from taking over.  So how do we become stronger in the positive and weaker in the negative?

I read more and more on the positive people in life and am trying to copy them.  I have turned off the television and most radio.  Sometimes you have to drop out from the norm to change your life!  I really do not miss television that much, and when I do see some of it I am amazed at the deterioriation in quality.

How do I fill my time? I joined Mastermind Pros Coaching and am one of their coaches.  I study the subjects that I coach in and attend as many trainings as possible.  It is far more rewarding then television (ok I still enjoy the food network, too, and a DVD movie once in a while…even old television).

I like to write and am doing more and more writing. 

I am an Intenational Director for Nutronix International, and The Berry Tree.  I spend a lot of my time helping with trainings there, too.  2008 is going to be an incredible year for my downline.  You will be reading about it all here.  If you want to become a part of my team I suggest you visit my Automatic Builder site, acutally that is my cousin’s link.  He is a diasbled Army Vet and I am determined to get his business going with his help, and to help anyone who joins below him.
